Hybrid Legal Support and Office Support Provider, Bookkeeper

Lois fulfills the role of Hybrid Legal Support and Office Support Provider, providing a hybrid of paralegal, legal assistant, executive assistant, and office administration tasks. These include assisting with hearing preparation, preparing and filing regulatory submissions and providing administrative support to RLC’s Legal Services Business Director and other legal services providers. In addition, Lois performs the accounting duties for the RLC team.

With 17 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, Lois has extensive knowledge of regulatory processes, land contract management, and public consultation. Lois has specific experience in wind power project development and regulatory permitting with over a decade of AUC Rule 007 implementation experience. She has also assisted in hearings before the Alberta Utilities Commission and has prepared and submitted power plant applications to the Alberta Utilities Commission.

Lois also has more than 20 years of experience in senior executive administration, office management, and bookkeeping.
