Laura is a Legal Services Provider, Student-at-Law with RLC.

Laura grew up in Australia where she completed a Bachelor of Laws with Honours at the Australian National University in 2014. She was admitted as a solicitor in Australia in 2016.

She completed a Masters of Law in Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Calgary in 2017. During her Masters, Laura worked as a research associate with the Faculty of Law on multiple projects regarding emerging issues in energy law. She also performed contract work as a legal and policy consultant to several industry groups. After graduating from the University of Calgary, Laura completed a fellowship at the Canadian Institute of Resources Law.

Laura assists with the preparation of RLC’s blog and monthly newsletter, summarising matters under the jurisdiction of the Alberta Energy Regulator, the Alberta Utilities Commission and the Canada Energy Regulator and proceedings resulting from those regulators’ decisions.
